This Privacy Policy describes how NSUSN collects, uses, discloses, and protects your Personal Information.

Information We Collect

We collect information that alone or together with other information in our possession could identify you (“Personal Information”).

Personal Information You Provide: When you fill in forms, subscribe to newsletters, apply to startup programmes or events, register for events, submit feedback or contact us, we may collect:

  1. Your name, email address, phone number, university/student ID (if applicable), academic background or company/startup information (e.g., business name, description, team details)
  2. Your address, country, city, date of birth, or other demographic details when required
  3. Your responses or submissions to application forms, surveys or questionnaires

Information Automatically Collected: When you visit and use the Site, we may receive certain information automatically:

  1. Log data: browser type, IP address, date/time of request, and how you interacted with the Site
  2. Cookies and similar technologies: session cookies, persistent cookies, tracking identifiers, device identifiers

  1. NSUSN affiliates and partners
  2. Startup founders and companies participating in our programs

We DO NOT sell or share personal information for advertising purposes.

Data Retention: We will retain your Personal Information only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable law or NSU institutional policy.

Security: We implement organisational, technical and administrative measures designed to protect your Personal Information against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. Despite our efforts, no system can guarantee absolute security, and you accept that transmissions over the internet are inherently insecure.

Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate and administer the Site, gather usage data, improve user experience, and perform analytics.

Children’s Privacy

  1. Services are not directed to children under the age of 13.
  2. NSUSN does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. Contact us if you believe we unintentionally did so.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal/regulatory developments or institutional policy updates. We will post the updated Policy on this page and update the “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the Site after the revised Policy is posted constitutes your acceptance of the changed terms.
